    Jane Nirschl was my aunt. Imagine my surprise when I googled ‘biegelstein’ and found her recipe! My mothr was Eleanor (Nirschl) Kruser, Albert Nirschl’s younger sister. I have a number of her recipes including one for rhubarb custard pie, if you’d like it. I spoke with Jane a few years ago and she gave me a recipe that I promptly misplaced. It was for a noodle dough that was rolled out, spread with apples and nuts, and then rolled and baked. She said they often had it for supper on Saturday night. Might you have a copy of it?
